WATERLOO, Ontario -- Value-added reseller successfully expands relationship with Descartes to help deliver results to customers with Descartes solutions

Optimize Logistic Solutions, a longtime reseller of Descartes' Routing & Scheduling(TM) solutions has expanded its relationship to represent additional products within the Descartes Delivery Management Suite including Descartes Transportation Manager(TM), Descartes Automated Vehicle Locator(TM), Descartes Reporting Services(TM) and Descartes Route Planner(TM). Optimize Logistic Solutions' domain expertise, excellent customer service and unique knowledge of the Spanish, Portuguese and Italian markets has helped Optimize Logistic Solutions to become a leading provider of Descartes' innovative solutions that address a broad range of distribution, transportation and supply chain challenges.

Optimize Logistic Solutions' recent successes in expanding existing client relationships and generating new business across Southern Europe include the following:

- Helped Compania de Aguas Belnature SL, a Spanish bottled water distribution company, successfully implement Descartes' Routing & Scheduling solutions. According to Mr. Alvaro de Postestad, Logistics Manager, Aguas Belnature's distribution costs were reduced by almost 15%;

- Provided support for a global deployment of Descartes' Routing & Scheduling solutions by Rivoira spA, a majority-owned subsidiary of Praxair, Inc., with an implementation in Italy. According to Mr. Massimo de Mola, Development Processes and Systems Manager, the pilot installation for the project decreased driving distance by approximately 8%;

- Helped Cia. de Bebidas Pepsico SL, the Spanish operations of one of the world's leading beverage companies, implement Descartes' Sales & Territory Planner(TM) solution with its sales force. "It is the first time that we have a tool that allows us to centrally manage the sales routes of our salesmen," says Mr. Fernando de Rio, Sales Capability Manager. - Based on the success of a recent Descartes Routing & Scheduling implementation completed with Optimize Logistic Solutions, Grupo Leche Pascual, Spain's largest manufacturer and distributor of dairy, cereal and beverage products, selected Descartes' Transportation Manager solution to improve the management of its contract carriers; streamline its operations by taking a holistic approach to managing delivery resources and requirements; evaluate transportation alternatives; and select efficient delivery methods.
