CTIA Statement on FCC Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau

WASHINGTON -- CTIA-The Wireless Association(R) President and CEO Steve Largent issued the following statement today regarding the creation of the Federal Communications Commission Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau.
"The wireless industry has always been committed to providing reliable communication, particularly in times of crisis, and looks forward to working closely with the Commission's new Bureau. The new Bureau will be well-positioned to coordinate the many facets of emergency communication and the wireless industry is eager to continue offering its unique perspective and capabilities to the nation's communication needs."
