Circuit City Selects JDA Software for Best Practices Category Management; Consumer Electronics Retailer Chooses JDA Portfolio to Deliver Strategic Value at Shelf Level

(Nasdaq: JDAS) today announced that Circuit City Stores Inc., a leading consumer electronics retailer, will implement JDA Portfolio(R) category management software. Circuit City signed a license with JDA in fourth quarter 2005 for several applications within the Intactix(R) suite to support the retailer's merchandising systems transformation.
