Entriq Brings on Executive VP of Business Development and VP of Marketing; Former Microsoft and DIRECTV veterans to drive company's leadership in the multimedia content industry

SAN DIEGO -- Entriq, a company that helps content providers realize new revenue streams from their multimedia content, today announced that Jan Hofmeyr and Stephen Condon have joined the company as Executive Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Marketing respectively. The hires come on the heels of the company announcing the launch of the market's first integrated multimedia advertising and content serving platform that will enable content providers fully monetize digital assets through both ad supported and pay-media to consumers using a single technology platform. The technology enables content delivery across all channels including broadband, wireless, and IPTV environments.

Mr. Hofmeyr will be responsible for the strategic growth of Entriq through fostering business relationships with key partners in the industry. Prior to joining Entriq, he spent seven years with Microsoft Corporation focusing on digital TV support in Windows Operating System. At Microsoft, Mr. Hofmeyr was an integral part of the initial group that founded the new Microsoft eHome division and created the Windows Media Center Edition (MCE), which led to the historic agreement between Microsoft and the US Cable industry that will enable support for digital cable (including HDTV services) in the next release of MCE.

Previously he held several leadership positions in the multimedia content industry, specifically in video delivery. His career highlights include working on the launch of DIRECTV and bringing it to over three million subscribers. Mr. Condon was also Vice President of Marketing at INTERVU, one of the original Internet content delivery companies, where he played a key role in successfully leading the company's marketing initiatives and positioning it for subsequent acquisition.
