Business Wire, March 20, 2006
SAN DIEGO -- Hatteras Networks, the Mid-Band Ethernet service specialists, today announced that XO Communications is using their HN4000 and HN400 networking platforms to deliver a rich portfolio of Ethernet services nationwide. Now available in more than 60 metropolitan markets, XO Ethernet Services are enabling businesses at copper-fed locations to take advantage of the types of services previously reserved for buildings connected by fiber. Now all businesses have the flexibility to connect multiple locations or receive high-speed, IP-ready network access at all locations, bridging the bandwidth and services gap with a true carrier class Ethernet service offering.
