Procuri Marks 2005 as a Record Year for Growth; Customer Wins, Acquisitions and Funding Combine to Fuel Market Expansion for OnDemand Supply Management Leader; Strong Start to 2006 as Tim Minahan Joins Management Team
Business Wire, March 27, 2006
ATLANTA -- 2005 was a record-breaking year for OnDemand supply management leader, Procuri. The company's proven ability to drive value from the complex process for sourcing, contracting and managing suppliers translated into a 71 percent increase in total revenue over 2004 and a 63 percent compound annual growth rate for the last two years.
Procuri signed 149 contracts in 2005, representing 51 new customers, driven by the growing awareness that world-class supply relationship strategies are critical to corporate performance. Its expanding customer base represents companies of all sizes and a wide range of vertical industries. New customers for the fourth quarter include TRW Automotive U.S.LLC, Plantronics Inc., and UPM-Kymmene Corporation.
"Our customers are leading their industries with supply management best-practices, and have achieved the results - in cost-savings and performance improvements - to validate them," said Mark Morel, president and CEO of Procuri. "Our growth and ongoing commitment to development will ensure we continue to anticipate and meet their needs with the most comprehensive and easily deployed suite of supply management solutions available today."
Other 2005 highlights include:
-- Acquisition rounds out comprehensive supply management
portfolio: In March, Procuri acquired Contract Management
Solutions, Inc. (CMSI), a recognized leader in the contract
management industry. This acquisition marks Procuri's expanded
and enhanced supply and contract management solution suite.
Today, Procuri's offerings address every major aspect of the
supply management process: supplier selection, vendor
performance, contract management, spend analysis and
compliance.
-- Solid financial footing fuels next wave of growth: Procuri
secured $12.5 million in additional equity financing in a
Series B up-round led by current investor Insight Venture
Partners and new investor Advent International.
-- Market validates Procuri's leadership: Procuri and members of
its management team were honored with numerous awards in 2005:
-- Technology Association of Georgia Top Technology Innovator
-- Supply & Demand Chain Executive Pros-to-Know
-- Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetters Award
-- Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100
-- Catalyst Top 50 Entrepreneurs
-- Deloitte Technology Fast 50 - Georgia (Ranked #2)
-- Deloitte Technology Fast 500 (Ranked #29)
-- Sun Microsystems Meritorious Supplier Award
-- Customers convene to share best-practices: More than 250
sourcing and contracting professionals attended Procuri
Empower 2005 in September. The conference featured
presentations by leading companies and experts including
Aberdeen Group, AMR Research, Bank of America, General
Electric, National City Corporation, PepsiCo, Roll
International, Sun Microsystems, Texas Instruments and Toyota.
Sun Microsystems, SAS and Austin-Tetra were sponsors.
"2006 is already off to a momentous start, as our management team grows deeper with Tim Minahan joining our ranks," added Morel. "As he spearheads our global marketing initiatives and alliances, we will continue to capitalize on the fast-growing market for solutions that deliver best-in-class supply management processes."
