theglobe.com Registration Statement of Form S-1 Will No Longer Be Effective

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- theglobe.com (OTCBB:TGLO), announced today that it filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2005 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. theglobe.com also announced that the Registration Statement on Form S-1, which was initially declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission at the close of business on May 11, 2004 (and most recently amended and supplemented on November 7, 2005), will no longer be effective. Shareholders are hereby notified not to make any further sales of common stock pursuant to the Registration Statement. theglobe.com does not intend to amend or update the Registration Statement and accordingly, does not anticipate that the Registration Statement will be available as a basis for the sale of shares of common stock in the future. Shareholders who did not sell all of their shares pursuant to the Registration Statement may be eligible to resell their shares over the public markets in reliance on Rule 144.
