SS8 Networks Receives TL9000 Certification; Industry Benchmark Certification Demonstrates SS8 Networks' Commitment to Quality Throughout the Product Lifecycle
Business Wire, March 7, 2006
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- SS8 Networks, a recognized supplier of scalable and resilient unified communications platforms, today announced it has obtained TL9000 v3.0 quality management system certification for hardware, software and services. TL9000 is the quality management system for the telecommunications industry, designed to drive product improvements and industry wide performance, while enhancing customer-supplier relationships. Registered companies not only follow exacting quality guidelines for product development, but also contribute to data collection programs that serve to establish class of service benchmarks. The QuEST Forum oversees the TL9000 program, and has now recognized SS8 Networks as one of the select companies to earn this certification.
"SS8 earned the TL9000 award for our SC3100 Unified Communications Platform, ensuring that we meet the specific quality management and measurement requirements of tier one telecommunications service providers," said Dennis Haar, president and CEO of SS8 Networks. "This is a benchmark that validates our commitment to the tier one space, and has been driven by real customer applications to a standard that was created by service providers, for service providers. As we graduated from ISO 9000 in 1994 to ISO 9001 in 2000, our certification to TL9000 supports our goal of achieving 100% customer satisfaction."
The QuEST (Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications) Forum developed the TL9000 standard in 1999, to define the telecommunications quality management system requirements for the design, development, production, delivery, installation and maintenance of products: hardware, software and services.
