CaminoSoft Extends Reach for Its Information Lifecycle Management Solutions in North America Through Channel Partnership with ASAP Software
Business Wire, March 8, 2006
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. -- CaminoSoft Corp. (OTCBB:CMSF), a leading provider of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions for Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 and Novell NetWare environments, today announced ASAP Software has joined CaminoSoft's Premier Channel Partner program. Under this program, ASAP Software will offer CaminoSoft's ILM solutions to its broad range of IT customers, including commercial, industrial, and educational organizations and federal, state, and local governmental agencies.
"CaminoSoft's Managed Server HSM(TM) software provides IT administrators with the ability to establish automated, policy-based control over file migration, retention, and archiving, while optimizing the management and usage of storage resources for business-critical information during its lifecycle," said Richard Krueger, vice president of marketing and alliances at CaminoSoft. "Given ASAP Software's leadership in delivering IT solutions for the markets we serve, this agreement represents an important strategic initiative in CaminoSoft's ongoing plan to broaden availability of the company's software suite through the channel in North America. We look forward to working with ASAP Software as go-to-market partners."
ASAP Software sells business software, hardware and IT services to global enterprises and all levels of government agencies. The data management demands of these organizations are growing exponentially because of graphics files, document imaging, e-mail, user-controlled directories and other space-hungry files and applications.
"We work with vendors for which our customers have a strong demand. CaminoSoft offers products that our business and government customers value highly. The amount of data retained and handled on a daily basis by our customers, and the resources to store it, would be unmanageable without products like Managed Server HSM software," said Harry Zoberman, ASAP's senior vice president of marketing and operations.
