Business Wire, May 10, 2006
LOS ANGELES -- At the 12th annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), to be held May 9-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Glu Mobile, a leading creator and global publisher of mobile entertainment, announced a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment America to develop and publish the mobile version of ATV Offroad Fury(R), the PlayStation(R) 2 system's blockbuster off-road racing title.
"ATV Offroad Fury is the original and definitive off-road game experience," said Robert Nashak, chief creative officer, Glu Mobile. "We're excited to deliver its unique blend of challenging terrain, high-flying stunts and adrenaline-packed quad racing action to mobile gamers everywhere."
Sony Computer Entertainment America's ATV Offroad Fury franchise has sold nearly five million units on the PlayStation 2, making it far and away the best-selling, off-road racing title on the platform. The mobile game is set to launch alongside the fall PlayStation 2 launch of ATV Offroad Fury 4.
ATV Offroad Fury for mobile will be available to consumers on major wireless carriers in September 2006. For more information, visit www.glu.com.
