Sara Lee Food & Beverage Names TBWA\Chiat\Day, Los Angeles, as Advertising Agency of Record for Sara Lee Brand

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. -- Sara Lee Food & Beverage announced today that it has selected TBWA\Chiat\Day, Los Angeles, as its advertising agency of record for the Sara Lee brand.

Chiat\Day will assist in strategic development and execution of advertising in the United States for Sara Lee brand products, including fresh bread and bakery products, frozen desserts and baked goods, and deli lunchmeats, cheeses and condiments.

Chiat\Day was selected after an extensive agency review. The agency will be responsible for all advertising - television, radio, print and outdoor.

Sara Lee brand products hold leading market share positions in the categories in which it competes, including the No. 1 position in fresh packaged bakery -- bread, buns, rolls, bagels and English muffins. Innovative new products include Sara Lee Soft & Smooth Made With Whole Grain White Bread, the nation's best-selling loaf of bread.
