BOSTON -- Brian Keane, who resigned today as President and CEO of Keane, Inc. (NYSE: KEA), issued the following statement:
"The allegations leveled against me are utterly baseless and false, and I intend to work with the company to vigorously refute them in any and every available forum. However, I have concluded that the mere existence of these untrue allegations presents a distraction that I wish to avoid for the company my father founded 41 years ago. Under the present circumstances I can best serve the company and its shareholders on a consultant basis."
