GSource LLC Selects Air2Web Mobile Marketing Solution; Agency Answers the Demand for Mobile

Business Wire, May 11, 2006

ATLANTA -- Air2Web, the leading provider of mobile messaging and marketing applications, today announced its partnership with GSource, LLC, an Arizona-based marketing firm that specializes in web strategy and deployment. The partnership will extend GSource's media offering into the mobile space.

For five years, GSource has been helping their clients integrate web into their existing marketing strategy. According to CTIA, The Wireless Association, there are currently 213MM wireless subscribers (ranging from preteens to seniors) in the United States. As such, marketers are re-evaluating and in many instances reallocating funds to include mobile initiatives. In fact, according to the Mobile Marketing Association website, 89 percent of major brands plan to market via mobile phones by 2008, with more than half of those brands spending up to one-quarter of their budgets to do so. "If we want to continue to deliver effective, integrated campaigns, offering mobile as a new channel to our customers is essential," said Rob Waldrop, Senior Partner, GSource, LLC.

Air2Web's mobile marketing and carrier-agnostic delivery solutions will enable GSource clients to communicate with wireless users via short message service (SMS). GSource will also have the ability to create customized campaigns including voting, polls, mobile trivia, couponing and premium content delivery.

Even though the penetration of mobile phones and smart devices has reached more than two billion worldwide, some enterprises are still hesitant to go mobile. Waldrop insists the reservations are spurred by a lack of industry knowledge and cost concerns. "Many companies are unaware that aggregators like Air2Web manage connectivity and delivery, making it easy and affordable to start marketing to mobile users."

"We are extremely excited about this partnership," said Alfredo Narez, Vice President of Marketing for Air2Web. "Teaming up with agencies like GSource will not only help demystify mobile marketing, but it will also help enterprises expand their reach and strengthen brand through innovative media."

Len Emmick, Senior Vice President of Sales for Air2Web believes partnerships between marketing agencies and wireless technology companies are helping to propel mobile marketing adoption. "Large consumer goods and media companies are jumping into mobile marketing in a big way," says Emmick. "We expect the U.S. marketplace to adopt these wireless services on a larger scale than Europe, eclipsing sales in that region within two years."

Emmick's forecast is already gaining momentum at GSource. Since partnering with Air2Web, the agency has 11 clients that are looking to integrate mobile into their existing marketing plans for late 2006.
