Redcat Motors Chooses JunctionMCR & Microsoft Dynamics AX from Junction Solutions; Fast Growing Off-road Products Company to Manage Enterprise using Junction's Multi-Channel Retail ERP Software
Business Wire, May 15, 2006
LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. -- Junction Solutions, the largest provider of vertical industry focused enterprise software and services based on the Microsoft Dynamics(TM) AX (formerly Axapta) platform, today announced that Redcat Motors, a fast growing provider of off-road motorized vehicles, has chosen JunctionMCR, a multi-channel retail ERP solution built on Microsoft Dynamics(TM) AX, to manage its demand and supply chain across multiple sales channels.
Redcat Motors was established in New Orleans in 2003 as a wholesaler of off-road products manufactured in China. A victim of Hurricane Katrina, Redcat relocated its headquarters to Phoenix, Arizona, and rebuilt its infrastructure. Today, Redcat is a leading wholesaler and retailer of value priced off road products such as ATVs, motorcycles, and radio-controlled vehicles throughout the United States. The company has five regional warehouse locations ensuring that their consumers and more than 500 dealers are able to receive goods faster and less expensively than any other seller of similar goods in the USA. With new dealerships being approved each day, Redcat's growth has been dramatic.
"JunctionMCR was the best fit for our needs as it will enable us to quickly get our products into the proper warehouse and permit the dealers to forecast their sales and track inventory," said Lucian Spataro, Chief Operating Officer for Redcat Motors. "We were impressed with Junction's professionalism and their demonstration of how their solution would enhance our operations relating to inventory management, sales and customer service. The Junction team worked seamlessly with Microsoft's team to present a scalable product that will adapt to our emerging business and expanded product offerings."
Redcat has multiple e-commerce web sites for dealers and consumers which are linked to the company's inventory management system. JunctionMCR will enable these online channels - www.redcatmotors.com, www.redcatracing.com and www.atvpartsusa.com - to communicate seamlessly to enterprise as well as allow Redcat to quickly launch new web sites and business lines down the road.
"Redcat's business is indicative of trends in today's global marketplace - this is a company that creates value through innovative design, marketing, and distribution while providing competitively priced vehicles manufactured overseas" said Brian Carpizo, CEO of Junction Solutions. "We were able to help a rapidly growing company identify JunctionMCR and Dynamics AX as an enterprise solution that is affordable in the early stages yet scalable to accommodate more complex requirements and a large number of users."
Redcat chose the JunctionMCR solution based on its proven track record in the multi-channel retail industry and its flexible, modular architecture which makes it easy to "turn on" new features as the company grows and changes.
