IDS Scheer Launches Certified ARIS Professional Partner Academy; New Program Provides Partners with Comprehensive One-Week Training & Certification on the ARIS Platform and the ARIS for SAP NetWeaver Solution
Business Wire, May 17, 2006
ORLANDO, Fla. -- IDS Scheer, the leading provider of solutions for business process excellence, today announced that it is offering a one-week Partner Academy program that provides consulting partners and system integrators with comprehensive training and certification on its ARIS Platform and how this industry-leading business process management tool can be applied to real-world business scenarios using SAP enterprise software. The first Certified ARIS Professional (CAP) program will be held at the Quick Center at Widener University from June 26-30, 2006. Once partners complete the week-long training session, an online exam will be given to test their levels of knowledge and experience on the ARIS Platform, as well as how the ARIS for SAP NetWeaver integrates with SAP Solution Manager. Participants will then be granted status as a Certified ARIS Professional (CAP) with a focus on SAP.
The SAP CAP exam enables partners to accurately gauge themselves on their skill set and proficiency in ARIS, the leading business process management tool as rated by Gartner for the last six consecutive years; and specifically tests proficiency with the ARIS for SAP NetWeaver offering which applies the ARIS tools and methods to designing and managing business processes supported by SAP enterprise software. Participants learn how to reduce SAP implementation time, custom development, maintenance and upgrade costs; as well as increase quality of configuration; and achieve more effective roll-outs of enterprise systems.
"Based on a very successful CAP program launched in 2004, we have decided to expand the program with specific use for ARIS on SAP projects," said Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, CEO of IDS Scheer for the Americas. "Demand from the partner community drove this expansion of the program. Widener was the logical choice to launch the program since we have enjoyed a long and prosperous relationship with its highly innovative business school."
"We are honored to host this inaugural certification program at Widener University. It further extends our commitment as an academic institution with a razor sharp focus on education on business process management as well as the emerging SAP NetWeaver open platform," said Dr. Sava(degree) Ozatalay, Dean, Widener University School of Business Administration.
The CAP Partner Academy program is priced at $2,395 for the full week of training and certification. For more information on IDS Scheer's Partner Academy program and future training dates, please visit: http://www.ids-scheer.com/us/partner-academy.
