AVST to Host Second Annual Reseller Oasis in Las Vegas; Annual Event Aims to Educate the Channel and Executive-Level Business Leaders on the Unified Communications Marketplace and AVST's Product Offerings
Business Wire, May 2, 2006
FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. -- Building on its strong position in the unified communications marketplace by continuing to provide effective educational opportunities for resellers and business leaders, Applied Voice & Speech Technologies Inc. (AVST) today announced its annual reseller educational conference, the AVST Reseller Oasis 2006. The second-annual event will take place May 2-5, 2006 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
AVST, a leading provider of unified communications solutions, designed the Reseller Oasis event to educate its highly influential audience on its corporate roadmap and product offerings, as well as its marketing, sales and business development initiatives. The event will be attended by AVST's top resellers from around the world, along with a highly charged group of owners, principals and CEOs from a variety of businesses.
"Our continued dedication to providing our important reselling partners and potential customers with a variety of educational forums allow us to expose them to new ideas that ultimately help them better prepare themselves in developing their communications strategies," said AVST's Vice President of Marketing Denny Michael. "The AVST Oasis not only provides a forum for new ideas but also sets the agenda for the coming year so all those involved can take advantage of the upcoming programs."
The Reseller Oasis comes on the heels of the CallXpress(R) Success Seminar series, a one-day high-impact sales training program that spanned nine metropolitan cities in April. The CallXpress Success Seminar series was designed to help resellers accelerate revenue growth by making their sales teams proficient in selling AVST's products. The Reseller Oasis and CallXpress Success Seminars are examples of how AVST consistently demonstrates its commitment to growing and educating the channel.
Highlights of this year's Reseller Oasis include:
-- Industry Analyst Spotlight
Bern Elliott, the industry's leading unified communications
analyst from Gartner Inc., will discuss the global view of
unified communications and how end-user companies are
successfully using unified communications solutions.
-- Industry Specific Case Studies
AVST's President and CEO Hardy Myers will moderate panel
discussions presenting two industry-specific
problem/solution/success case studies. A Q&A will follow each
presentation, promising an informative and dynamic exchange of

scientific approach for selling and managing sales
performance.
