Monster Government Solutions Launches E-Authentication for Federal Government's USAJOBS Website; New Technology Implementation to Increase Site Security and Simplify Log on for Government Agencies

Business Wire, May 2, 2006

MCLEAN, Va. -- Monster Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ:MNST), announced today that it has launched E-Authentication for USAJOBS, the Federal Government's online job site. The new technology implemented makes USAJOBS more secure and allows recruiters at government agencies to log on to the site using their E-Authentication user name and password.

The E-Authentication initiative, part of the President's Management Agenda and administered by the General Services Administration, is setting the standards for the identity proofing of individuals and businesses conducting transactions online with the Federal Government. USAJOBS is among one of the first government websites to implement E-Authentication under the standards set forth by the initiative.

"Implementing E-Authentication for USAJOBS is a major milestone because it increases the overall security of the site, while also making it more convenient for government recruiters by utilizing a universal sign on," said Dan DeMaioNewton, director of consulting services for Monster Government Solutions and program manager for USAJOBS. "We're proud to have helped position USAJOBS at the forefront of E-Authentication and facilitate integration across e-government initiatives as we administer USAJOBS under the Recruitment One-Stop program."

In addition to E-Authentication, Monster Government Solutions has also recently made a number of other advancements to USAJOBS including improved search functionality, and increased integration of USAJOBS search functionality into more than 90 Federal agencies' Internet and Intranet job sites. "These enhancements have helped drive customer satisfaction for USAJOBS and improve the Federal government's ability to compete effectively with the private sector to attract the best and brightest minds to careers in public service," added DeMaioNewton.
