24/7 Real Media Announces the Rich Media Foundry to Help Publishers Streamline Rich Media Delivery and Maximize Revenue
Business Wire, May 22, 2006
NEW YORK -- Proprietary, Leading-Edge Technology Simplifies the Creation and Trafficking of Rich Media Advertising across All Formats and Vendors
Signaling its commitment to simplifying rich media advertising for publishers, 24/7 Real Media, Inc. (Nasdaq: TFSM), a leading global digital marketing company, today unveiled the Rich Media Foundry, a new technology that streamlines the process of creating and trafficking rich media advertising in any format, from any vendor. The technology integrates seamlessly with Open AdStream(R) 6, the company's comprehensive ad management platform, which will allow publishers to reap all the benefits of rich media with minimal campaign administration.
"Rich media is the fastest growing advertising vehicle because it generates higher revenue for both advertisers and publishers. Currently, about 70 percent of the display advertising campaigns on our U.S.-based Web Alliance network are Rich Media," said Tom Swenson, product manager for the Rich Media Foundry. "The Rich Media Foundry makes managing and optimizing rich media campaigns simple for publishers. More importantly, the technology is designed to be agnostic and scalable, with the ability to support any rich media format, including video, audio, mobile, DTV, and other emerging formats."
The Rich Media Foundry simplifies the trafficking process for publishers. The technology features third-party rich media vendor code templates, allowing publishers to quickly and easily import code to Open AdStream 6. An Ad Wizard feature enables the creation of customizable banners, pop-up ads, or layered ads. Pre-roll video is fully supported, including coordination with in-page units. Other features facilitate the full integration with Open AdStream 6 without any further modifications.
The Rich Media Foundry also includes case management features that streamline the management of rich media vendors' ad product portfolio. Vendors may add new formats, enter modification instructions, and modify existing formats - all within one intuitive interface. New vendors may register and participate in 24/7 Real Media's Rich Media Certification program as well.
"The Rich Media Foundry is the latest in a series of industry innovations from 24/7 Real Media that help publishers improve the revenue generating potential and ROI of their sites, and increase the effectiveness of advertisers' messages," said Jack Smith, vice president of product strategy at 24/7 Real Media. "The Rich Media Foundry will help Open AdStream 6 customers speed the delivery of lucrative rich media campaigns into their ad rotation with minimal effort, enabling them to start earning revenue faster and increase their profit margins."
