AVST Showcases CallXpress® at NEC's User Group Conference in Florida; Leading Unified Communications Provider Demonstrates Advanced Voice Mail, Unified Messaging, and Speech Solutions for Enterprise Users
Business Wire, May 22, 2006
FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. -- Applied Voice & Speech Technologies Inc. (AVST), a leading provider of unified communications solutions, is emphasizing the benefits of voice mail, call processing, fax, unified messaging and speech-enabled call management for businesses of all sizes this week at the NEC User Group Conference in Tampa, Fla. A bronze-level sponsor of the conference, AVST is demonstrating the capabilities of its flagship unified communications solution, CallXpress, to NEC users and will highlight its broad range of integration support for NEC's products.
The annual NEC Users Group Conference gives all active member companies of The NEC Users Group the opportunity to come together in an organized forum for sharing ideas and expertise with other users while making valuable professional contacts. Attendees to the annual event include NEC executives, systems integrators and end users.
"We have a strong relationship with NEC and will continue to ensure that our products integrate easily with their products," said AVST's Vice President of Marketing Denny Michael. "Our goal is to make our world-class unified communications solution available to businesses of all sizes and to provide our customers with easy-to-deploy, easy-to use and easy-to-manage communication solutions."
AVST recently joined NEC's UNIVERGE Solutions Partner Program, to deliver products with tighter integration to NEC communication products. This expands a relationship between AVST and NEC that spans more than five years, offering more choices, ease of use and return on investment for companies looking to upgrade their communications systems. The UNIVERGE Solutions Partner Program is a new collaborative technical and marketing program established by NEC to create new solutions through integrating partner products (hardware and/or software) with NEC communication products.
Building on its platform, which already offers the most switch integrations in the market, AVST's CallXpress will soon boast additional synergies with NEC's hybrid and IP platforms, and has integrated with their award-winning MA4000 management solution. This provides system administrators with one application to manage user information across multiple communication applications, including CallXpress.
"We are pleased to have this opportunity to share our product roadmap and vision for the future of IP telephony solutions with NEC's esteemed user community at this annual user group meeting," added Michael.
The NEC User Group Conference is taking place from May 21-24, 2006, at the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa. AVST is located at Booth #12 in the exhibit hall.
