LOS ANGELES -- Language Weaver, a leading software company developing enterprise software for the automated translation of human languages, today announced that its chief executive officer, Bryce Benjamin, is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2006 Award in the Greater Los Angeles region. According to Ernst & Young, the awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Benjamin was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners for five categories will be announced at a special 20th anniversary gala dinner event on June 27, 2006 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

"At Language Weaver, our vision is to develop a company that aids in breaking down language barriers between people on a massive scale, helping Web content to become accessible in everyone's native languages, creating bilingual speech-to-speech opportunities and, essentially, allowing anyone to communicate any content in any language at any time," he said. "I am honored that Ernst & Young has recognized our accomplishments and endeavors."
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2006 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 18, 2006.
