Business Wire, May 24, 2006
WALTHAM, Mass. -- Meridio, the leading worldwide provider of enterprise Document and Records Management (eDRM) software engineered for Microsoft(R) .NET platforms announced today that CDW Corporation, a leading provider of technology products and services for business, government and education, has selected Meridio(R) for Electronic Records Management to enhance their records management program.
CDW is one of the most forward-thinking organizations in terms of leveraging the most up-to-date technology to support their business operations. The corporation's decision to select Meridio to manage its electronic records underscores the desire to leverage their investment in Microsoft-based technology.
"Meridio helps us reduce the overhead of making good records management decisions day after day," said Rich Lauwers, Sr. Manager, Records Management at CDW. "Meridio integrates well into our technology landscape. It enables our coworkers to manage the company's records efficiently."
Meridio Records Management will be deployed within Microsoft(R) Outlook to help CDW manage the records associated with communicating with customers and vendor partners. The seamless nature of the integration allows coworkers to categorize records and assure correct disposition.
"CDW is all about customer service," said Becky Thomas, Vice President, North American Operations. "A critical part of their customer communications are transported via e-mail. Meridio will provide a server side records management repository for all business critical communications allowing CDW to support their customer's needs with satisfaction. Not just email but any type of supporting documents created electronically can be dragged and dropped into the Meridio Fileplan via Microsoft Outlook by a co-worker."
