BKF Capital Group Receives Notice Regarding NYSE Listing

NEW YORK -- BKF Capital Group, Inc. (NYSE: BKF) today announced that it has been notified by the New York Stock Exchange (the "NYSE") that it is not in compliance with the NYSE's continued listing standards. BKF is considered below criteria by the NYSE because over a consecutive 30-day trading period its total market capitalization was less than $75 million and the Company's most recently reported shareholders' equity was below $75 million (at $72.0 million as of March 31, 2006).

In accordance with NYSE procedures, BKF will respond to this notification within 45 days.

BKF Capital Group operates primarily through its subsidiary BKF Asset Management, Inc., a New York-based investment management firm.
