DUBLIN, Ireland -- The Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE:CHS) Corporate Conference Call took place on 25-May-06 4:30pm ET.
CHS reported that in 1Q06 the Co. saw a solid 20% increase in sales and an 18% increase in earnings vs. 1Q05. CHS ended 1Q06 with $407m in cash and marketable securities. CHS expects that its annual earnings, excluding the one-time impact of the FASB 123 option expensing, will grow in the neighborhood of the 20% range.
