TNS Deploys Cantata's IMG 1010 Integrated Media and Signaling Gateway in International Direct Dial Network; Global VoIP Services Provider Reduces Costs by Leveraging Cantata's Integrated SS7 Capabilities

NEEDHAM, Mass. -- Cantata Technology(TM), the world's leading independent provider of enabling communications technology, announced today that Transaction Network Services (TNS) (NYSE:TNS) a leading network and data communications provider for transaction-oriented applications, has deployed Cantata's Integrated Media and Signaling Gateway 1010 (IMG 1010(TM)) in its global VoIP peering network. The IMG 1010 significantly reduces TNS' initial and ongoing equipment expenditures as it introduces VoIP enablement services to global long distance and domestic carriers.
