Salary.com to Acquire eComp Data Services Division from Aon Consulting

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Salary.com Now Offers Twice as Much CEO Compensation Data as Any Other Vendor; Information Covers 12,000 Public Companies And More Than 50,000 Executives.
Salary.com(TM) Inc., the compensation data and technology experts, today announced that it has acquired eComp(R) Data Services, a leading provider of executive compensation data, from Aon Consulting, a global human capital consulting firm. The Aon Consulting executive compensation group will focus on its core consulting services, partnering with Salary.com for executive compensation data.
With this acquisition, Salary.com becomes the largest provider of executive compensation data from surveys and proxy filings for named executive officers, with over 12,000 U.S. public companies and 50,000 senior executives covered - more than twice as many as the nearest competitor. Salary.com will expand its enterprise software offering with the introduction of CompAnalyst(TM) Executive - an enhancement to their award-winning CompAnalyst(TM) suite of on-demand market pricing and survey management tools.
