JDA Announces 2006 Real Results Award Winners at Its FOCUS Conference; Ace Hardware, The Clorox Sales Co., Famous Footwear and Michaels Stores among Companies Recognized in JDA Awards Ceremony

LAS VEGAS -- JDA Software Group Inc. (Nasdaq:JDAS) announced the winners of its inaugural Real Results Awards contest at its annual JDA FOCUS conference. JDA launched this contest to recognize its customers' significant achievements using JDA Portfolio(R) solutions. In a Las Vegas-style awards ceremony, JDA celebrated the winners, which include: Ace Hardware Corp., Casual Male Retail Group, The Clorox Sales Co., Dollar Tree Stores Inc., Famous Footwear, H-E-B, Maurice Sporting Goods, Michaels Stores Inc., Palmer & Harvey McLane Ltd. and Rite Aid Corp.

Famous Footwear Results Include Five Consecutive Quarters of Store-for-Store Gains
Famous Footwear, a 900-plus store division of Brown Shoe Co. and the nation's No. 1 retailer of name brand shoes for less for the entire family, won for the "Best in Planning" category.
The $1.2 billion dollar footwear retailer was looking to deliver the most desirable products at speeds that benefit their customers while matching the right products and quantities to specific regions and target customers. Using stellar Advanced Planning and Allocation by Arthur(R) applications to drive proven practice processes, Famous Footwear has achieved more precise planning and targeted allocations. JDA's solutions have contributed to the company's operational excellence and financial performance, including five consecutive quarters of store-for-store gains and an increase in sales of 6.3 percent in 2005.

Michaels Stores Brings Inventory Operations under Control
JDA recognized $3.7 billion Michaels Stores Inc., the world's largest specialty retailer of arts and crafts, for "Best in Replenishment, Retail."
By simplifying store operations and using Advanced Replenishment by E3(R) solutions as well as numerous other JDA Portfolio applications to rigorously and systematically bring inventory operations under control, Michaels Stores has reaped a number of benefits. These include improved in-stocks across 32 million active store/SKU combinations to 95 to 97 percent, improved in-stocks on advertised items to better than 97% and reduced inventory by 12 percent. Bringing inventory under control has enabled Michaels to achieve operational excellence that includes increased sales at a compounded annual rate of 12 percent and more than doubled operating earnings.

The Clorox Sales Co. Reduces Planogram Production Time by 50 Percent
JDA also celebrated The Clorox Sales Co. for demand chain excellence in the "Best in Category Management" category. Using CategoryAdvisor(TM), Clorox reduced the time to generate planograms by 50 percent and reduced space planning training for users by 50 percent.
Clorox's other benefits include improved ability to target assortments and store inventory of each retail partners' regional markets, more enriched planogram analysis and additional granular store clustering analytical capabilities.
