MILWAUKEE -- RedPrairie Corporation, a global leader in supply chain technology solutions that enable business process transformation, announced that they have formed a strategic alliance with Microsoft Corp. to provide integrated Warehouse and Transportation Management solutions with Microsoft Dynamics GP, and other Business Management solutions.

The relationship extends beyond joint marketing efforts, with RedPrairie developing a communications standard to Microsoft's eConnect communication layer. This provides a tightly integrated solution set that offers a highly adaptable ERP system enabled with best-of-breed warehouse and transportation management functionality. The two companies are building from successful ERP/WMS deployments at Arthur Schuman, a wholesale distributor of Italian Cheeses, and Lifetime Brands, a manufacturer and distributor of kitchen wares. Lifetime Brands has utilized this joint solution set to support paperless processing and the value-added service of kitting. Additionally, they have realized reduced labor and distribution costs, while increasing inventory accuracy, throughput and volumes.
