Synygy and Briggs & Sands Consulting to Host Roundtable on Pharmaceutical Sales Compensation and Quota Setting
Business Wire, May 9, 2006
CHESTER, Pa. -- Synygy, Inc., the largest provider of solutions for solving sales compensation management problems, and Briggs & Sands Consulting, well-known experts in sales effectiveness and compensation design, will be hosting the Pharmaceutical Roundtable on May 24, 2006, in Turbine Hall at Synygy's headquarters in Chester, PA.
The Pharmaceutical Roundtable will bring together sales compensation and sales management executives for an opportunity to network with and learn from their peers on best practices and innovative techniques for driving growth in the pharmaceutical industry. The day's content, driven by the direct input of roundtable participants, will include facilitated discussions open to all attendees, smaller breakout sessions, and live survey results providing immediate answers to some of the most pressing questions in pharmaceutical sales.
David Grossberg, a managing director for Synygy's client services group, and Scott Sands, a principal at Briggs & Sands Consulting, will facilitate the roundtable.
"The Pharmaceutical Roundtable grew out of the successful High Tech Roundtable that we hosted with Synygy last year," said Sands. "Attendees stated that they were able to get answers to critical questions that they couldn't find anywhere else. The response from the attendees at the High Tech Roundtable encouraged us to make the opportunity available to executives in other industries. Given the expanding pharmaceutical field sales presence and Synygy's extensive experience in with pharmaceutical companies, the pharmaceutical industry was a natural choice."
Over 60 percent of the top 25 pharmaceutical companies rely on Synygy services and solutions to pay their salespeople.
"It is clear that many of our clients are struggling with the same issues--how do I control my cost of sales, how do I measure the ROI on my sales compensation programs, how can I handle SOX reporting, how can I benchmark my organization in real-time," commented Grossberg. "The Pharmaceutical Roundtable brings executives together to share their perspectives on these important issues."
