Partnership Simplifies and Streamlines Procurement of ANTs Data Server
BURLINGAME, Calif. & MCLEAN, Va. -- ANTs software inc. (OTCBB:ANTS), a leader in compatible, high-performance SQL database management systems, and immixGroup, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise technology products for government agencies, today announced a partnership agreement giving federal, state and local government users greater access to ANTs' award-winning database management solutions. The agreement makes it faster and easier for government organizations to embrace the database consolidation, performance and cost-saving benefits of the ANTs Data Server.
Under the partnership, buyers will be able to obtain ANTs' solutions through immixGroup's multiple-award, government-wide acquisition contract vehicles, with consistent and accurate pricing, terms and conditions. As a result, government agencies will be able to more easily take advantage of the benefits of ANTs' high-performance database management solutions.
"As government organizations seek to regain control over their database infrastructures, reducing costs and complexity through database consolidation, it's critical that they are able to access our solutions through the contract vehicles they prefer to use," said Joseph Kozak, president and CEO of ANTs software inc. "Our partnership with immixGroup provides government customers with the greatest flexibility in contract vehicles and financing options through immixGroup's outstanding customer service in providing complex technology solutions to government customers."
Today's announcement continues ANTs' government market momentum, and follows Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems' selection of ANTs and IBM to develop software for mission-critical shipboard electronic and combat systems for the U.S. Navy's DDG 1000 Zumwalt Class Destroyer Program. Raytheon selected the ANTs Data Server for its advanced performance characteristics and interoperability with standards-based products and technologies.
"immixGroup provides enterprise technology products from more than 100 manufacturers to the government using the contract vehicles we currently hold and maintain, earning the trust of an extensive network of customers throughout federal, state and local government agencies," said Art Richer, senior vice president, immixGroup. "Through this partnership, government customers will be able to obtain ANTs' products more quickly and easily, and ANTs will be able to reduce its sales costs without the burden of having to obtain and maintain its own government contract vehicles."
ANTs products and services are now available via immixGroup's GSA schedule contract #GS-35F-0330J and other contract vehicles.
