Fireman's Fund Insurance Company Aligns with Homeland Security Network, Inc. To Offer Preferred Pricing to Commercial Policyholders
Business Wire, Nov 13, 2006
NOVATO, Calif. -- Fireman's Fund Insurance Company announced today that it has entered into a relationship with Homeland Security Network, Inc. (HSNi), which will provide Fireman's Fund commercial policyholders with preferred pricing on HSNi's new Global Positioning System (GPS). The GPS tracking solution will help Fireman's Fund policyholders not only reduce costs, but also secure and manage their assets.
Fireman's Fund's commercial policyholders will enjoy a significant price reduction on the new HSNi GPS tracking solution which will mitigate the risk of theft and loss faced by commercial fleets of vehicles. HSNi's proprietary iTrax product uses exclusive technology to provide companies with the ability to safely and securely monitor and control their vehicles.
The system combines GPS tracking capability with a web interface in one simple device, working in tandem with a cell phone, PDA or computer. The safety and security provided through this system helps provide Fireman's Fund customers with the ability to deliver the right product at the right time, give accurate status updates to customers, be competitive in pricing and ROI - allowing goal-setting for rapid expansion.
Fireman's Fund will feature HSNi as a preferred vendor on the Fireman's Fund iCustomer Series[R] Web sites, a series of industry-specific sites designed to help businesses manage risk, available only to Fireman's Fund policyholders. In order to receive the reduced rate on the GPS tracking system, policyholders must be registered iCustomer Series users.
"We're pleased to be able to offer our customers this new GPS system which will help our clients protect their truck fleets and prevent loss," said Leslie Balfour, iCustomer Series marketing manager at Fireman's Fund. "It's our goal to provide our customers access to other professional services and products that will help them mitigate risk and be able to have a more successful, profitable business."
