Investment Scorecard, Inc. Provides Performance for Alternative Assets
Business Wire, Nov 13, 2006
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Investment Scorecard, Inc. delivers critical new functionality to the Wealth Management industry via their web-based, fully outsourced performance product. In addition to consolidating accounts from multiple back office systems, Investment Scorecard now has the capability to report on assets that are held outside of a traditional custodial account. This new service allows clients to facilitate a
holistic view of all their assets within the SCORECARD[R] Performance Reporting and ComplianceIQ(TM) platforms. It is geared toward clients who are capable of sending the bulk of their accounts through an electronic custodial interface but also need to report on a subset of "Alternative Assets" such as real estate, hedge funds, limited partnerships, etc. that can not be tracked on the standard brokerage or trust accounting system.
"The overall process is easy. Clients using the service submit the information for each alternative asset to Investment Scorecard each month using a simple template. From there, the data is reconciled and audited by our operations team as part of our standard protocol before the performance calculations are completed. The alternative assets then appear on SCORECARD[R] for a complete picture for the client," says Scott Doolittle, Product Manager.
CEO Joe Maxwell says, "This is another key enhancement delivered by Investment Scorecard to satisfy the growing needs of our clients in the wealth management space. Providing a holistic view of a client's entire portfolio allows wealth management firms to better service their clients and demonstrate greater value."
