Seasoned Consultant to Help Government Agencies Boost Performance and Streamline Operations

CHANTILLY, Va. -- AMERICAN SYSTEMS, an employee-owned, government IT solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Larry Mendenhall as vice president and executive director of Government Consulting Services. In this role, Mendenhall will develop a portfolio of top-level professional services that federal agencies can call on to evaluate and improve their strategic and IT performance. Additionally, his unit provides leadership in strategic planning, information technology optimization and business process redesign.

"Larry's extensive knowledge of government consulting and strong background in the government IT arena make him the perfect choice for this position," said William C. Hoover, president and CEO, AMERICAN SYSTEMS. "I have great confidence that his talent and vision will be a tremendous asset to both the Government Consulting Services group as well as AMERICAN SYSTEMS' customers."

Mendenhall brings over 20 years' consulting experience to developing and implementing management and business process solutions for the public and private sector.
