U.S. Bancorp Foundation Awards $10,000 Grant to Mapping Your Future for Its Web Site

MINNEAPOLIS -- The U.S. Bancorp Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to Mapping Your Future[TM], Inc. (MYF). Mapping Your Future serves more than 2,700 postsecondary schools and is located on the web at www.mapping-your-future.org.
"We appreciate the continued support of the U.S. Bancorp Foundation," said Catherine Mueller, executive director of Mapping Your Future. "This funding will help Mapping Your Future continue to fulfill its mission of providing free online college, financial aid, career, and financial literacy information and services - services that are very important to the lives of many students and families and to the daily operations of colleges and universities around the country."

* College Financial Aid - information about how to apply for student financial aid, and information on scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs, and a calendar of important dates in the financial aid process;
* Online Student Loan Counseling - interactive and college-customized entrance and exit counseling sessions;
* Live Chat Events - events that enable visitors to ask counselors about college, career, financial aid, and loan management and receive answers immediately;
* Show Me the Future - an online financial literacy and life skills game that helps students understand the decisions they make today can have a life-long impact; and
* Success in College - a guide to help students navigate through college.
