National Park Service Achieves LEED Gold Status by Installing Axis Ballasts

Business Wire, Nov 17, 2006

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Axis Technologies Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AXTG) announced today that the National Park Service Regional Office in Omaha, NE became the fifth building in the US to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Gold Status. This certification is provided through the US Green Building Council. The building went from LEED Silver Status to LEED Gold Status as a direct result of installing the Axis Technologies Dimming/Daylight Harvesting (DDH) ballasts in one large area of their new building located on the Omaha riverfront.

This area was monitored for energy savings, and the data showed 70% lighting energy reduction over the standard T8 system that was originally slated for installation.

The report on this installation is available on the Axis Technologies website, or by contacting Axis directly at (866) 458-9880.

The LEED Rating System was created to transform the built environment to sustainability by providing the building industry with consistent, credible standards for what constitutes a green building. Eligibility requirements include and extensive site plan review and specific site audit. More can be learned about LEED at www.usgbc.org.
