Castelle Announces Integration of Its Network Fax Servers with Equitrac Cost Recovery and Print Management Solutions
Business Wire, Nov 21, 2006
MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- Castelle[R] (Nasdaq:CSTL), a leader in 'all-in-one' network fax solutions for the business and enterprise markets, today announced that its FaxPress[TM] family of network fax servers integrate with Equitrac cost recovery and print management solutions.
"For many customers, especially those in the legal market, cost recovery is an important part of their business," said Scott McDonald, President and CEO of Castelle. "The integration of Castelle's FaxPress, FaxPress Premier[TM] and FaxPress Enterprise[TM] fax servers with Equitrac's cost recovery and print management solutions enable customers to easily control fax communications and recover billable expenses. Customers have the security and benefit of network faxing in an integrated workflow environment."
Castelle network fax servers provide bill back support, allowing a bill back code to be assigned to every outgoing fax. These bill back codes are written to the FaxPress transaction log where they can be exported for use in the Equitrac cost recovery system. Equitrac recently completed parsers for both FaxPress and FaxPress Plus[TM], Castelle's software suites that run on FaxPress, FaxPress Premier and FaxPress Enterprise fax servers. These parsers allow import of the FaxPress/FaxPress Plus transaction logs into Equitrac Professional and PartnerServer software.
"We are very pleased to be providing the advanced capabilities of Equitrac's award-winning cost recovery and print management solutions to business and enterprise customers of Castelle's network fax servers," said Michael Rich, CEO of Equitrac. "IT administrators used to managing desktop and network fax queues, creating reports and viewing fax archives can now enjoy automated integration of Castelle fax servers with Equitrac's powerful tools for discovering and recovering fax-related billable costs in the office environment."
Castelle is currently working with Equitrac on an interface to the new Equitrac Professional 5.1 software, which will allow direct real time export of bill back codes to the Equitrac 5 database.
