Sparton Announces Price Reduction Of Its SP3003D Digital Compass
Business Wire, Nov 27, 2006
JACKSON, Mich. -- Sparton Corporation (NYSE:SPA) today announced a substantial price reduction for its SP3003D Digital Compass. A single unit is now offered for sale at a price of $750.00, reflecting almost a $200 a unit price decrease. The price drops even more dramatically if customers order in volume.
Jim Lackemacher, Vice President of Sparton Government Sales, shared that the price reduction is a direct result of recent increase in sales volumes as more and more customers discover the superior performance offered by the digital compass. The SP3003D incorporates a proprietary algorithm to achieve precision directional finding, including true heading, while simultaneously compensating for pitch and roll.
