New Organization Combines EMEA Hardware and Software into Integrated Organization
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Insight Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSIT) ("Insight" or the "Company") today announced that Stuart Fenton, former managing director of Insight's UK division, has been named president of Insight EMEA.
Insight EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) is the combination of Insight UK and the former Software Spectrum EMEA acquired through Insight's acquisition of Software Spectrum, Inc. from Level 3 Communications in September 2006.
These changes are part of Insight's plan to effectively and quickly integrate its hardware and software businesses worldwide, allowing Insight to solidify its value proposition as a trusted advisor of IT solutions and present a more robust offering into global markets where Software Spectrum already has an established footprint.
"A single management team for Insight EMEA allows us to focus effectively on our new combined organization, and to continue to act as a trusted advisor to our clients, only now on a larger, global scale," said Rich Fennessy, chief executive officer, Insight. "This move benefits our partners and teammates as well, as it provides clear direction and accountability for our EMEA organization."
Fenton has more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry and has played a key role in Insight's global business strategy in his previous role as managing director of Insight UK, a position he's held since 2002. In his time with Insight UK, he increased profit and growth, and improved Insight UK's client profile and key business metrics.
"We're focused on building on the momentum of our strengthened value proposition as a hardware and software leader," said Fenton. "We're confident that the integration of our operation serves to give us new efficiencies to meet client needs across the EMEA region."
