Premiere Global Services Placed among Elite Email Service Providers
Business Wire, Nov 6, 2006
ATLANTA -- Premiere Global Services, Inc. (NYSE:PGI), a global outsource provider of business process solutions, today announced its ranking among top large enterprise-oriented email service providers (ESP's) offering outstanding business value and market suitability in JupiterResearch's Email Marketing Guide, 2006 (available at http://www.jupiterresearch.com). Premiere Global led email marketing vendors in its category for market suitability, commending the relevance of the features and configuration options of its email marketing technology and services.
In its assessment, JupiterResearch cited Premiere Global's ability to offer customers hosted or on-premise deployments; enhancements to its strategic services group and application infrastructure; new localized language support for German (Germany), French (France), English (United Kingdom) and Spanish (Spain); and features that allow users to build microsites from within the application. In JupiterResearch's 2005 guide, prior to Premiere Global Services' acquisition of Accucast, Accucast earned an overall ranking of five among the vendors evaluated in its category.
"Earning top billing in this evaluation prepared by a preeminent research firm in our industry gives enormous validation to the strategy we have pursued over the last year," said Michael Pridemore, Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Marketing Automation Solutions, Premiere Global Services. "Certainly, we can point to the powerful combination of Premiere Global's footprint and resources with the technology and talent brought by Accucast as well as the enormous gains in our application infrastructure and localization efforts. Of course, the accolade also gives well-deserved recognition to our amazing team of world-class professionals dedicated to providing the best marketing automation services available."
Premiere Marketing Automation's market leadership is driving strong operating performance this year with significant new customer acquisitions and revenue growth. In addition to the successful initiatives highlighted by JupiterResearch, Premiere Marketing Automation recently launched its Deliverability Services, in partnership with Goodmail Systems and Pivotal Veracity, that improve email deliverability and help legitimate marketers reach their intended audience.
According to JupiterReseach, the evaluation of email service providers examines the offerings of 28 vendors against the needs of three categories of marketers - service-oriented, small-/midsize-business and large enterprise. Vendor scores are based on three criteria - value, suitability and breadth. JupiterResearch identified the prospective email service providers from vendor evaluations, market presence and client feedback. Vendors self-reported the information used in the evaluation in comprehensive questionnaires. JupiterResearch verified the information with product demonstrations and client interviews.
