Business Wire, Nov 8, 2006
Certification ensures that Esker DeliveryWare 4.0 can confidently handle business-critical document delivery needs for organizations using Microsoft Windows Servers
MADISON, Wis. -- Esker, the leader in business document delivery solutions, today announced Esker DeliveryWare 4.0 successfully passed all required testing for certification of Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition. Two separate levels of certification were performed in order to attest that Esker DeliveryWare 4.0 conforms to the high standards defined by Microsoft in terms of security, reliability, stability, availability and support, therefore ensuring that it will meet the needs of an organization's business-critical document delivery processes.
Defined in collaboration with Microsoft and its customers, as well as the software developers and programmers, the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 certification identifies the criteria that must be respected to provide application compatibility with Windows Server 2003. Covering all phases including installation, execution and application uninstall, the certification's main goal is to ensure that all applications concerned do not affect the stability of the system and that they do not cause functionality issues for Windows Servers.
In order to obtain this certification, Esker DeliveryWare 4.0 was Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition and Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition tested by VeriTest[R], the testing service of Lionbridge (NASDAQ: LIOX), a leading globalization and off shoring services company. Esker DeliveryWare 4.0 demonstrated a very high level of stability and availability during testing in high load and high stress situations; and as well, proved to seamlessly integrate with Windows Server 2003 whether installed as a single-server or in a Microsoft cluster.
The Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition certification affirms complete compatibility with Windows Server 2003 outside of problems resulting from unplanned system reboots and unplanned service interruptions by an application certified for Windows 2003, etc.
In addition, by obtaining the Enterprise Edition certification Esker has demonstrated its ability to support its customers on business-critical applications requiring the implementation of highly protected architecture containing a Microsoft cluster.
"Designed for business-critical applications, 'Certified for Windows Server 2003 certification' is valuable to companies relying on Microsoft Operating systems because it verifies that applications are manageable and provide high-availability in clustered installations. Our testing showed that Esker DeliveryWare met these requirements," said Steve Nemzer, Vice President, Global Development and Testing Solutions, Lionbridge.
"Already Microsoft Gold certified, these new certifications ensure our customers that Esker DeliveryWare 4.0 offers high level compatibility with Windows Server 2003. The Window Server 2003 Enterprise Edition certification rewards the high availability of our solution and its ability to support a cluster environment giving us a level of certification that is rare for software developers in our industry. This offers our customers' confidence that we can help in the management of their business-critical document delivery processes," says Jean-Michel BE[umlaut]rard, CEO of Esker.

Esker DeliveryWare 4.0 is listed in the Windows Server catalog and in the VeriTest catalog.
