PowerLight Corporation Breaks Ground on a 20 Megawatt Photovoltaic Project in Spain for Elecnor

GENEVA -- Elecnor, S.A. and PowerLight broke ground today on a 20 megawatt solar power system in the town of Trujillo, CEiceres in Spain. PowerLight Corporation, the leading global provider of large-scale solar power systems, is working with Elecnor to design, develop and deploy the solar power system, named 'La Magascona', which will make use of PowerLight PowerTracker[R] Solar Power Systems, the most widely deployed single-axis solar tracking system in the world. The 20 MW project will be owned by Fotowatio EnergE a Solar, and will cover an area of approximately 100 hectares.
