New Program Allows Guests to Buy Hotel Amenities Online

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Ever stay at a hotel enjoying the best night's sleep ever and wish you could take the hotel bedding home with you? Starting today, guests will now have the opportunity to recreate their hotel stay and hopefully several sleep-filled nights through the Hampton brand's new online program entitled Hampton@Home collection.

The new program, available online at www.hamptonhomecollection.com, provides a vehicle for consumers to purchase plush Hampton guestroom amenities including the brand's new bedding package. "Cloud Nine. The New Hampton Bed Experience." The bedding package which will be available in all Hampton hotels by December 31, 2006, which in most hotels will include the Serta Tranquility Nights[TM] mattress and box spring set and features a crisp, white duvet cover, enveloping a plush down-like comforter with white 200-thread count sheets and a fitted bottom sheet. The bed also features three or four pillows --some filled with soft down, some with firmer synthetic fill. Each of these items will be available for purchase on the new site as well as the Hampton signature radio alarm clock, the brand's comfortable lap desk, and the Hampton signature shower curtain and curved shower rod.

"You know you have a hit on your hands when a guest calls asking to purchase the exact bed they have slept in at your hotel," said Phil Cordell, senior vice president, Hampton. "Since we introduced the new Hampton bedding at our more than 1,350 Hampton hotels, our phones have been ringing off the hook with consumers demanding to know how to purchase the new bed. The guest room amenities are examples of the Make It Hampton initiative, which since January 2004 has introduced new products and services ranging from a new complimentary On the House([R]) hot breakfast and Hampton's On the Run breakfast bags[TM] to Purity Basics([R]) bath products and a curved shower rod, complimentary high-speed Internet access and the industry's easiest-to-set alarm clock/radio.
