Leading Research Firm Cites Company's Partnerships with SAP, Oracle and Microsoft, and Strength of Products as Key Differentiators

BERWYN, Pa. -- IDS Scheer today announced that it was named a Market Leader in the September report, "Forrester Wave: Business Process Modeling Tools: Q3 2006," based on its strong partner relationships, comprehensive road map and solid business process modeling focus. IDS Scheer was one of eight vendors positioned in the Forrester report that evaluated each company's current offering, strategy and market presence. According to the report, IDS Scheer received top scores for strategy and market presence based on a scale of 0 to 5 (strong).

According to the Forrester Wave report, "IDS Scheer stakes a leadership position in the business process modeling tools market through its product capabilities and dominant market share. The company's ARIS suite offers a comprehensive portfolio of methodologies and software for analyzing business processes as a holistic picture of process design, management, workflow, and application procedures. The suite essentially provides all of a full business process management suite (BPMS) save for an execution environment."

The report further stated that IDS Scheer's ARIS Platform is a good fit for buyers that need strong modeling linked to their ERP environment, require worldwide deployment and support, and want top-of-the-line, Web-based interfaces.

"We are proud to be named by Forrester as a leader in the business process modeling tools market," said Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, CEO of IDS Scheer for the Americas. "IDS Scheer will continue to extend our ARIS Platform and complementary consulting services to help process-centric organizations truly gain business process efficiencies."

The theme of IDS Scheer's upcoming ARIS ProcessWorld 2007 conference will be "Accelerating Innovation and Growth with Open BPM" which points to the company's comprehensive support for all three major platforms from SAP, Oracle and Microsoft. ARIS ProcessWorld 2007 for the Americas (February 7-9, 2007) will be held in Amelia Island, FL at the Amelia Island Plantation Resort.
