Agilis Software Among First to Join the Preferred Rights Management Partner Program

ORINDA, Calif. -- Intraware, Inc. (NASDAQ:ITRA), the leading provider of electronic software and license delivery and management solutions for enterprise technology companies, today introduced its Preferred Rights Management Partner Program, a vehicle by which leading Digital Rights Management companies can offer their customers hosted licensing and software delivery services powered by Intraware.

Agilis Software is among the first to join the program designed for digital rights and software license management companies that want to implement best practices for operational aspects of software licensing management.

By leveraging Intraware's unique position in the market, the Preferred Rights Management Partner Program provides members with a route to a hosted delivery and management offering for their DRM and/or license technology. Through Intraware's SubscribeNet License Manager, members can reach a broader market for their DRM and/or licensing solutions. Intraware will provide technical and business development support related to the development and sales of those products and/or services that operate in conjunction with SubscribeNet License Manager.

"The marketplace has spoken clearly about its desire for customer-centric digital rights management solutions," said Justin Benson, VP of Sales and Marketing at Intraware. "Enterprise technology companies want to select technologies that are interoperable, flexible, and scalable with a return on investment measured in months not years. By providing our hosted services to core DRM providers, we can address that mandate and help enterprise technology companies select the right feature set for their individual circumstances."

"We're excited about the complete solution we can together offer ISVs," said Dominic Haigh, Vice President of Agilis Software. "Intraware is the leader in hosted software distribution services, while Agilis is the leader in scalable Internet-protocol hosted licensing solutions via our Orion Network Licensing Platform. Our customers have often asked us about third-party hosting services for Orion: working with Intraware we can now provide flexible licensing and an advanced level of back office integration for ISVs."

"We are pleased to expand our business by partnering with companies that offer licensing or DRM technologies that are complementary to SubscribeNet License Manager, and who wish to offer those technologies in Software as a Service environment," said Richard Northing, Chief Operating Officer of Intraware. "We've seen a clear demand for an approach that enables companies like Agilis control the operational elements of software licensing management. We look forward to adding new partners to the program in the coming months."

In addition to accessing a hosted delivery and management platform for their digital rights and licensing technologies, members can take advantage of Intraware's position in the marketplace for joint marketing and sales opportunities and also enjoy the following benefits:

* Access to SubscribeNet License Manager interface documentation;

* Access to technical information on SubscribeNet License Manager;

* Promotion in Intraware sales presentations; and

* Joint marketing opportunities such as webcasts and user group conferences.
