Wipro Named "IT Outsourcing Service Provider Of the Year" at The Third Annual NOA Awards

BANGALORE, India -- Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT) today announced that it has won the National Outsourcing Association's (NOA) award for "I.T Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year".
Wipro Technologies won the award for demonstrating solid growth in the outsourcing sector during the past year, presenting a number of outsourcing projects it had worked on and all delivering tangible business benefits. The client testimonials to support these projects highlighted the quality of service, innovation and 'higher value' that Wipro delivers, which was impressive enough to win the award.

The Awards, which were announced at a glittering ceremony at London's Radisson Portman Hotel, were hosted by Anthony Hilton, the financial editor of the Evening Standard. Attracting over 350 professionals from the UK's outsourcing industry, the awards aim to reward organisations for success in outsourcing projects, as well as raising awareness for the importance of best practice in outsourcing. The awards acknowledge achievements in IT outsourcing, Business Process Outsourcing, as well as sector specific achievements in telecommunications, finance, energy and the public sector.
