Local Businesses Get Inside Peek at Products That Can Improve Their Bottom Line

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Alltel Wireless (NYSE: AT), America's largest network, today announced the launch of the Alltel Wireless Business Forum series. The series begins Oct. 19 in Little Rock, and will allow local businesses to learn how Alltel's business services, including the high-speed Axcess Broadband network, can improve efficiencies and boost their bottom line. Events are planned in Arizona, Nebraska, New Mexico, West Virginia and Wisconsin through November.

Many of Alltel's corporate partners, including Motorola, Qualcomm, Kyocera, Research in Motion (RIM), Nortel, Palm and LG, also will be present at the events to display their latest products, services and innovations.

Each day-long event will feature speakers detailing cutting-edge mobility products and services and will provide hands-on experience with the latest wireless products now available and coming soon. Products on display will include those providing wireless Internet access (Axcess Broadband), wireless e-mail and personal information management (documents, calendar, contacts, memos and tasks), fleet management, retail point-of-sale solutions, public safety and emergency response applications, healthcare/patient care applications, personalized software content and more.

"With the business environment changing at an ever increasing pace, it is crucial that decision makers know how to use the latest advancements in wireless technology that enhance profits and increase productivity," said Elisabeth Owen, president of business solutions at Alltel Wireless.
