Contract Deepens Marathon's Inroads into the Manufacturing Industry; Bolsters InSource's IT Solutions with Marathon's everRun High Availability Solutions

LITTLETON, Mass. -- Marathon Technologies Corporation, the leading provider of high availability software for Microsoft([R]) Windows([R]) environments, announced today that it has certified InSource Solutions, as an official Marathon Reseller. InSource, headquartered in Richmond, VA, provides the manufacturing and municipal water industries with consulting and professional services as well as software and hardware solutions. InSource will include Marathon's everRun line of high availability products as part of its comprehensive technology solutions.

Under terms of the agreement, InSource will offer Marathon's high availability solutions to its broad spectrum of clients in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, utilities, wood products, metal, consumer products and municipal vertical markets. Marathon everRun will ensure that customers' applications are continually up and running. In addition, the two companies will work cooperatively on joint marketing, sales and lead generation initiatives.

"We're excited for the opportunity to resell Marathon's everRun high availability software as part of our various offerings of IT solutions," said Thomas J. Barczak, Vice President at InSource Solutions. "From a revenue and business continuity perspective, it's critical that our customers' applications are available at all times. Marathon's everRun products ensure that our customers have superior availability with lower complexity and initial as well as ongoing costs."

Marathon's everRun line of high availability products protects Microsoft Windows applications from unplanned downtime while eliminating the need for costly and complex failover processes, specialized applications, or proprietary server hardware. Turnkey, automated, and simplicity are the cornerstones of the everRun line, which uses embedded intelligent policy management to resolve faults & failures. The primary benefit to the end user is that applications continue to ComputeThru([R]) platform faults & failures, without needing to modify or script the application.

"InSource has proven to be a key IT solutions provider to manufacturing companies and we are pleased to welcome them to the Marathon channel program," said Gary Phillips, president and CEO of Marathon Technologies. "This relationship enables us to further build our presence and jointly deliver real value to customers that rely heavily on the availability of their applications."
