Hay Group and Cezanne Software Launch Powerful New Pay Analysis Tool
PHILADELPHIA -- Hay Group, in partnership with Cezanne Software(TM), today announces plans to add powerful new functionality to its global reward information portal, Hay Group PayNet([R]).
The joint venture between management consultancy Hay Group and HR software specialists, Cezanne Software, will combine the comprehensive global pay intelligence of Hay Group's PayNet([R]) databases and reports with the sophisticated pay modeling capabilities of Cezanne's Salary Analysis software tool. The new functionality will be made available to PayNet users by January 2007.
Steve Marsden, Head of Reward Information Services at Hay Group, said: "This represents a quantum leap for PayNet([R]) users. The new functionality will offer a broad, integrated and powerful service to reward professionals, enabling the quick and effective understanding of reward structures and strategies. This will enable HR specialists to clearly visualize their current pay structure against market trends and model future reward scenarios."
The new PayNet Salary Analysis tools will allow reward professionals to:
* Compare internal pay levels to the market - or part of the market - and analyze the impact of adapting pay in line with market trends.
* Check internal equity - by comparing sub-groups of employees to analyze pay by function, location or branch
* Model 'What-If' Scenarios - and analyze the impact of different reward strategies, by individual function, level and/or location, or across the whole organization.
The tool simplifies and visualizes many of the tasks reward professionals are charged with, such as:
* Deciding reward strategy
* Planning reward structures across organizations
* Understanding the impact of a range of pay scenarios
* Managing the salary bill according to budgets
* Assessing pay competitiveness
* Relating pay to performance
* Conducting equal pay audits and identifying anomalies
Hay Group PayNet([R]), one of the world's most comprehensive reward information services, is an innovative online service providing access to over 7 million pay records from 13,000 of the world's leading organizations in more than 60 countries. Cezanne's Salary Analysis software combines internal and market pay data to provide visual, user-friendly simulation tools to aid the development of reward strategy.
Steve Marsden said: "The new PayNet([R]) offering represents the best quality reward analysis tool on the market."
"This is the first time such comprehensive pay data and powerful modeling functions have been available in a single, integrated tool - one which will make reward professionals' lives a great deal easier."
"This is the first step in a new era for PayNet([R]). Hay Group will continue to bring new, innovative offerings to users to ensure that PayNet([R]) remains the analysis tool of choice for reward managers."
Nick Bolton, Deputy Chairman of Cezanne Software said: "We are delighted to partner with Hay Group on this important initiative. PayNet[R] already provides an invaluable source of information for reward professionals. We're confident that the advanced visualization and simulation capabilities offered by Cezanne's Salary Analysis software will allow PayNet[R] users to gain even more value from their investment in the service."
