U.S. Senator John Cornyn to Keynote InfraGard Houston's 6th Annual Conference

HOUSTON -- The Houston Chapter of InfraGard will feature U.S. Sen. John Cornyn as keynote for this year's 2006 InfraGard Conference, announced Christopher Roach, InfraGard's Houston Chapter President.
The Sixth Annual InfraGard Houston Conference, which will be held October 24-25, 2006 at the Hilton Hotel at the University of Houston, will present John Cornyn as the keynote during the luncheon session from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24th, which will be followed by a Q&A session.
Cornyn serves as Deputy Whip and is on the board of five key Senate committees, including: Armed Services Judiciary Budget Small Business, Entrepreneurship, and Joint Economic committee. Of these fives committees, Cornyn chairs two subcommittees - Immigration, Border Security and Citizenship, as well as Emerging Threats and Capabilities.
Cornyn is a major supporter for government involvement of U.S. protection and continues to play an active role with military and veteran personnel in Texas.

This two-day event is expected to draw about 350 attendees and will feature tracks that focus on Cyber Security; Homeland Security; Water Utility Security; First Responder; Forensics; and Interactive Forensics Labs.
The conference is geared toward CIOs, CISO, CROs, corporate security directors and advisors, as well as law enforcement, utility management and first responders.
