Who's America's Top Real Estate Agent? The Wall Street Journal, REAL Trends to Honor 'The Top 200' Nationally

Winners to be Announced Nov. 11 During National Association of Realtors' Annual Conference and Expo Being Held in New Orleans

LITTLETON, Colo. -- In the first national tribute of its kind, The Wall Street Journal, in collaboration with REAL Trends, next month will recognize "The Real Estate Top 200," an inaugural event honoring America's top-producing residential agents.

The Real Estate Top 200 will be announced Saturday, Nov. 11, during a news conference at the annual National Association of Realtors (NAR) Conference and Expo in New Orleans.

The tribute will spotlight the top 50 residential agents and agent teams in four key categories:

* Individual agent - dollar volume sales

* Individual agent - unit sales

* Agent team - dollar volume sales

* Agent team - unit sales

The winners - who have not been notified of their award -- are being chosen from nearly 2,000 submissions from real estate companies representing hundreds of markets nationwide.

Additionally, on November 11, The Wall Street Journal and lore magazine (http://www.loremagazine.com) will feature profiles of the top agents. Both publications will be distributed at the NAR conference.

The tributes will also be found online at loremagazine.com and RealEstateJournal.com, The Wall Street Journal's real estate Web site.
