Rimini Street Expands Northern California Operations Center
Business Wire, Oct 3, 2006
Additional Facility Needed to Accommodate Growing California-Based Support and Engineering Teams, Expanded Service Offerings, and Larger U.S. Client Base
Clients Benefit from Area's Skilled Siebel, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards Workforce
LAS VEGAS -- Rimini Street, Inc., the leading independent maintenance and support provider for Siebel, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards (NASDAQ:ORCL) software, today announced the expansion of its operations in Pleasanton, California with an additional Pleasanton-based facility to house its fast-growing technical engineering staff. Rimini Street expects a large percentage of its hiring and overall staff to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
"While we continue to hire across the United States, the San Francisco Bay Area is the center of Siebel and PeopleSoft expertise, and Denver is the center of JD Edwards expertise. Therefore, Rimini Street will continue to invest in operations facilities around these core talent pools," said Seth Ravin, president & CEO of Rimini Street. "As the former worldwide headquarters location for PeopleSoft Inc., Pleasanton is highly regarded for its enterprise software talent and is a natural choice of location for our expansion."
Construction of the new Rimini Street facility has been completed and will open for employees around October 15, 2006. In addition to new employees that will occupy the facility, Rimini Street employees currently working in its Foster City, California office will relocate to the new Pleasanton facility. The move is a step towards consolidating all San Francisco Bay Area employees into a single facility in late 2007.
"We are pleased that Rimini Street has chosen to expand its San Francisco Bay Area operations and staff, and delighted that Rimini Street has chosen the City of Pleasanton for two of its facilities," said Pleasanton Mayor Jennifer Hosterman. "We look forward to the additional jobs that Rimini Street is bringing to Pleasanton with its growth and success."
